PROFESSIONAL CAREER
Pre-employment self-sponsored into the Erie County Police Training Academy in 2011. After graduation, Paul was employed with a few different agencies to ultimately land with the Town of Hamburg Police. Experience includes Erie Community College, City of Salamanca and SUNY Brockport Police. Currently assigned to road patrol in Hamburg's 60 member department.
Why is Public Service important to you?
“Public service is of utmost importance to me because I have a strong desire to give back to my community and also want to be a positive influence in the lives of the people we serve everyday. My goal as a Police Officer is to leave the people I meet with a strong sense of trust and mutual respect, while at the same time effectively performing my duties. Humanizing the badge and building long lasting, positive relationships between the community and Law Enforcement is what I take great pride in achieving.”
VOLLEYBALL CAREER
High School/Juniors
Grand Island High School 2003-2007. Co Captain 2006-07. All WNY Team 2007. 2nd Team in 2006.
College
Integral role in restarting the Men's Club Volleyball program at Niagara Community College in 2007-09 before transferring to the University of Buffalo in 2009. At SUNY Buffalo, I played Division I Club Volleyball and competed in Nationals 2009-2011.
Post Collegiate/Professional:
Played on various United States Association Volleyball National Men’s Open teams.
Competed in Adult Nationals in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
